Fizzy Moon-a thick plush bear with the large pink button on the tummy, was created and drawn by the artist of the UK company “Paper Island”, is a character for a series of greeting cards. Sales of these cards were such a success, that the large chain of gift stores asked “Paper Island” to develop the whole line of gifts with Fizzy Moon.

“Once, a very long time ago, when grandmother was still young, she knitted a very beautiful woolen sweater for grandfather. Grandfather valued this gift very much and wore it each day. As time passed by, and as it occurs with old things, the old sweater was put into a trunk, which was located on the garret of a small house. Bright colors became darker, and from the entire buttons only one remained. Once, the babysitter went to the garret in order to wipe the dust and get rid of old unnecessary things. Going through the stuff, she found an old grandfather sweater .Gray fur from the long garment lying rolled up, became very thin and unattractive. But the babysitter was assured that the sweater could obtain the second life. She took the sweater downstairs and lay on the armed chair next to a fireplace. Within time, the sweater got dried, threads were scolded, and the babysitter assumed that a small puppy sat in the armed chair. She dissolved the sweater, wound several balls, took the knitting needles and began to bind. First, it appeared a cute face with a brown nose and ears. From another ball she knitted paws, body and a little bit left for the small tail. The babysitter sewed only one button to the stomach. This is how “Boofle” was born.
This is the story of the puppy “Boofle”- the hero of a new gift line, which “Art & Design” will represent on the Russian market on the fall of 2009.
